Who is assessing you
An employer built the process you are in and decides what it contains. EvalFlo runs it and stores the results for them. Messages carry the employer's name and reply-to address; our name is in the footer so you can tell who the system is.
Before you start
The invitation lists the stages, roughly how long each takes, and whether any stage uses your camera, your microphone or an identity document. Nothing is sprung on you at stage three. Your personal link resumes where you left off.
During each kind of stage
- Forms, uploads and bookings: what you type, the file you choose, the time you pick.
- Assessments: your answers and how they developed, and browser signals such as focus changes, tab switches and paste sizes. These are counts, not a recording of your screen, and what they mean depends on the stage: in an open-book stage, pasting is expected.
- Camera or microphone stages, only if the employer enabled them: periodic snapshots, short clips around a flagged moment, and derived speech features. Audio itself is never stored. You consent on the capture screen, separately for camera and microphone.
- Photo or identity document stages: one image, stored, never scanned or matched, and an identity document is deleted 30 days after capture.
Some stages have a time limit. If you run out of time the work you did is scored rather than discarded, unless partial work is meaningless for that stage, in which case the invitation says so.
When you reach the end
You are told your submission is complete and the employer has it. You will not see a verdict, and no score is shown mid-process. Some employers choose to reveal a score after the whole process ends.
Integrity signals are evidence for a human reviewer, never a verdict, and nothing derived from a camera or microphone can reject you automatically.
What you can ask for
- An alternative route to a person if you have no webcam, share a room, or a locked-down session is unworkable for you. The button is always there.
- Earlier deletion of a photo or document, through the link on the capture screen.
- A copy of your data, or its deletion, from the employer, who controls it. We support them in answering, and you can also write to [email protected].
